Mini’s Loaner
Went from being a sports-car driver to Soccer Dad in half an hour. This is just a mini-update about the trials and tribulations of my beloved Mini Cooper S.
In the previous entry, I was left awaiting to hear the complete diagnosis to make the car roadworthy again.
In the meantime, Soccer Dad has taken over Andalusia with this cool van. I wanted my loaner to be a Cooper with, like, the John Cooper Works package, which boasts a ballsy 228-horsepower turbo engine.
Can’t complain, though. I enjoy it actually. At least it’s a mini—van that is.
Turns out the alternator and pulley went on my Cooper. Plus the back brakes need replacement, a couple of rear engine mounts, new battery cables, other small repairs; and I’m good to go.
Hoping the Red Devil will be ready tomorrow evening (Friday) The windshield was replaced as well..
Incidentally, allow me to express my frustration lately with the following musical cover I just completed. Please don’t take it personally. It’s a fun song to sing and play: sort of like an anthem for the angry.
I hope it becomes an earworm. Thanks for reading and for your continued support.
